It’s not letting me log into StyleVise using Facebook?
If you’re logging into StyleVise for the first time and want to use Facebook Connect to create your StyleVise account (instead of registering), you need to be completely logged out of your actual Facebook account. Close StyleVise, open your Facebook page, and click “log out” at the top of the page. Then visit the StyleVise homepage and click “Facebook Connect” to log in. Still not working? Tell us, and we’ll respond shortly.

What is the “Facebook Connect” icon at the top of the homepage?
By clicking the “Facebook Connect” icon at the top of the page, you can simply log in using your Facebook email and password. Logging in using Facebook gives you the option to share what you’re doing on StyleVise with your Facebook friends (this is completely optional) and automatically pulls in your Facebook profile photo. You can choose a new profile photo and display name once you’re logged in if you’d like.

Your StyleVise account is automatically created the first time you log in using Facebook Connect and clicking “Facebook Connect” is how you will always log in to your StyleVise account thereafter. Keep in mind, if you decide at a later time to visit the “Register” page and create a StyleVise account the other way, you will have two accounts registered on StyleVise.

How can I tell if my massage therapist (or stylist) is on StyleVise?
On the homepage, click the “Find Members” tab. You can select “massage therapist,” enter the city name and click search. You can do the same with your stylist. Don’t see Them? Try entering her a first name, selecting “massage therapist” or “stylist,” enter the city name and click search. Still don’t see them? Maybe they aren’t on StyleVise yet. Next time you see them, ask them to join StyleVise so you can stay connected with them. Also, recommend that they share their advice (by answering questions) to support the cause behind StyleVise.

What can I do on StyleVise if I’m not logged in?
If not logged in, you can only browse the questions and answers posted by StyleVise members using the Search Bar and “Find Questions and Answers” tool on the homepage and read the StyleVise blog. To find other StyleVise members, to post your own questions, answer and rate questions, and take advantage of other StyleVise features, you must join StyleVise.  You have two options for joining: click “Register” at the top of the page to create a new account or click “Facebook Connect” and log in using your Facebook email and password.

Why can’t I post or answer any questions, or find other StyleVise members?
You must join StyleVise to find other members and to post, answer and rate questions. Posting and answering questions is also how you support the greater cause behind StyleVise.

I Received a “Friend Request” in My Email?
If someone using StyleVise knows you or finds your questions and answers to be extremely helpful and interesting, they may visit your profile and send you a friend request to recognize you as one of their favorites and to stay in touch. To accept or reject a friend request, log into your StyleVise account, click on your name or profile photo at the top of the page and find the friend request to “approve” or “ignore.”
