Getting Started
You’ll need to sign in to take full advantage of StyleVise features. To join, visit the StyleVise homepage here or click the link to the right. Once on the homepage, click “Register” at the top right of the page to create your account. You also have another option for creating your StyleVise account. You can click “Facebook Connect” at the top of the page and sign in with your Facebook username. This will create your StyleVise account for you (and will be how you log in to StyleVise each time you access your account instead of clicking “Sign In”). You will also have the option to share what you do on StyleVise with your Facebook friends. After you’re logged in…
- First update your profile to include your recommended beauty/spa professionals and favorite products you can’t live without. It’s a small way to say thank you to those who make you beautiful, and an easy way to share who you recommend with your friends when they ask. To update your profile, click your name at the top right of the page or your profile picture. Then click “Edit My Profile.” Take a peak at my profile here.
- Post any beauty, fashion or style questions you have
- Make someone’s day by answering their question (use the “Find Questions and Answers” tool or the green search box on the homepage to narrow and find questions you’d like to answer)
- Rate answers (if you find a specific answer particularly helpful/unhelpful)
- Find other StyleVise members and take advantage of StyleVise networking features
Getting Answers to Your Beauty Questions
StyleVise has made it easy for you to get just the answers you’re looking for. Before posting your question, you are able to choose from a variety of options. You can post your question:
- Anonymously (should you feel embarrassed about asking it); perfect for uploading a photo and asking for honest advice on the outfit you’re considering
- Among friends, so only friends added on StyleVise can answer it
- Among all StyleVise members (public), so anyone logged in as a StyleVise member can answer it
- Among only beauty/spa professionals, so you get answers from only the pros!
